Can art be taught? Every since I can remember I have always wanted to be an artist. I can remember my brothers being able to draw real well, but my sketches always came out so so. Not only that but I have a brother that is musically talented as well as being able to draw real well. I took 3 months of piano and got discouraged when I wasn't progressing as quickly as I wanted to. So maybe the artistic talent gene skipped me, but can it still be taught to me? If I were to settle down and just bare through it can I one day possess the ability to create? One artist has this to say, "So I believe that art principles can be taught... but principles often aren't enough." A little discouraging to say the least. Oh well I suppose that I will have to continue to look at or listen to and enjoy other peoples art for now.

Top artist of my day
There is a lot of great art out there. From paintings to sculpting to music, the art in the world today is extraordinary. I must say though that some of my favorite art has to be inspirational. if a picture or a song doesn't move me, make me want to act on something then i don't think it is a good piece of work. Some artists that move me include: Daniel Sprick,
Andy Goldsworthy,
Zack Brown,
and Brad Paisley.

These are the kinds of artists that inspire, and are unique, and just down right the best in their fields. Finding something so moving in art today is a rare thing.Andy Goldsworthy but nothing else is.
I am beginning to lose all interest in art. Where I was captivated at one put, the product has lost all its luster.I am having a hard time enjoying the new things that I am seeing. I think a lot of the artist I have seen can be wonderful painters sculptors and so on. i just don't know if I can relate to them or the work that they are doing. not much has been keep my attention for more then a few minutes. definitely not long enough to really appreciate anything that I am looking at. I did find the last artist I saw some what interesting, I thought the video its self was long drawn out and boring. We just finished watching a video on Andy Goldsworth, I loved the art, and I loved to see how the artist created the art, but the video was like banging my head on a brick wall. Here are a few of the pieces that I really enjoyed.
