What I hate about art!

I have come to dislike installations. I understand photography and painting, even abstract painting, I cant understand installations though. To me it seems like they are just junk thrown together. i remember in grad school putting together collages, and think this ain't to hard. When I see a guy scatter glass on a floor, or just randomly placing objects in a room, I don't see the art in that.
On the same note, I don't believe that architecture is art either. I don't want to take anything away from sculptors, but can somebody honestly say that a house is a piece of art. I mean the so called artiest doesn't always do the work anyways. When building, the construction workers are the ones that put a building together. yet its the architect that gets the credit for it. If we are going to talk about a building being art, then I think the people who do all the hard work on the building should get the credit for it.
I understand that installations and architecture takes a lot of talent. i just don't think that it constitutes art. To me art encapsulates everything, from beauty to entrainment, and I just can't see all that in installations and architecture.
